“Stay and keep watch with me.”
Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship Jesus. The specific way that Jesus asks you to love Him in return is to spend one quiet hour with Him in the Blessed Sacrament. The Adoration Chapel is open to scheduled adorers as well as visitors during the Adoration times.
Call Dna Garre (501-908-6593) or Carmen Reno (830-329-1931) if you would like to take a hour of time before the Blessed Sacrament.
Notre Dame Catholic Church is now raising funds for building a new and much needed “Adoration Chapel” on the west side of the church just north of the Bell Tower. It will be approximately 24 feet by 26 feet, will seat 25 people comfortably, and will also have an enclosed bathroom with a lavatory. The projected cost of the Chapel will be $350,000.00, which includes the interior finishes. If you would like to make a donation, you may simply write a check to Notre Dame Church and specify that this donation is for the Adoration Chapel only, and there will be no tax from the Archdiocese. There are also envelopes in the Narthex for your convenience. If you have questions you may contact:

“Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration with exposition needs a great push. People ask me: ‘What will convert America and save the world?’ My answer is prayer. What we need is for every parish to come before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in holy hours of prayer.”
