The purpose of Notre Dame Youth Ministry is to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and express their Catholic faith in our world today. Our programs will seek to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of the young persons in the parish and to draw teens into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Life Teen is an International Catholic movement of the Holy Spirit aimed at Leading Teens Closer to Christ through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary and the "Source and Summit," the Eucharist! Our weekly catechesis and faith formation sessions are called Life Nights. Life Teen is 100% Catholic, teaching the totality of the Truth of our faith while challenging teens to live that same faith. All 9th-12th grade students of the parish should participate in the Life Teen program as their Christian formation. Coupled with fulfilling their Sunday obligation of attending Mass each Sunday and Life Nights, we offer additional retreats and youth group activities throughout the year. Life Teen is led by a Core Team of adults who are active in the life of the parish and work each week praying for the teens, connecting with them in a relational setting, and teaching the faith in a comfortable, engaging, and content-filled program.

EDGE is a Catholic middle school youth ministry experience created for early adolescents designed to meet their educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. At this age middle school youth are open to good and bad behaviors as well as positive and negative ideas. Many of the values and beliefs they held as children are now questioned and challenged. As young adolescents they are trying to figure out who they are and what they believe. In many respects middle school kids are on the edge because so much is going on in their lives physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. It can be a very stressful and difficult time for them and their parents. As a Catholic Community, we have the opportunity to give our middle school youth the EDGE they need in life: Jesus, The Word, The Eucharist, and the Church!

Purpose is a transformative approach to confirmation. Multiple components combine impactful curriculum with a powerful mobile application to enhance communication with candidates and parents. Purpose is more than just a resource. It is a whole new approach to sacramental preparation. The Purpose curriculum is 24 sessions with a heavy focus on evangelizing young people and accompanying them as they become disciples. The curriculum addresses three big questions, "Why believe in God?", "Why trust Jesus?" and "Why be a part of the Church?" Additionally, all Purpose sessions begin with a small group bible study modified from Life Teen's lectionary-based discipleship group, Summit.
